Principal Designer, Founder

David leads device design and fabrication from co-design and digital modeling through prototyping, testing, and refinement. A multidisciplinary artist, designer, VFX supervisor, and fabrication studio principal, he brings decades of visual, technical, and hands-on practice to personalized assistive technology.

Julia Pope

Director of Programs & Partnerships, Co-Founder

Julia leads programs, partnerships, communications, and platform strategy. A technology entrepreneur and communications strategist, she co-founded Hylo, an open-source platform for community collaboration, and helped establish the Consilience Project. Her work spans technology, environmental advocacy, political organizing, and public media.

Principal Strategist, Co-Founder

Victor guides disability strategy, public policy, and global inclusion. As executive director of the Center for Independent Living and director of UC Berkeley’s Inclusive Cities Lab, he brings decades of experience advancing disability rights, accessible cities, and international policy.

Patrick is a double board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon, physician-turned-entrepreneur, and startup strategist. He advises on medical context, specialist coordination, safety boundaries, and organizational strategy.

Technology & Systems

Hina brings 15 years of engineering leadership across program delivery, project management, data systems, and platform development. She advises on technical strategy, AI workflows, and the systems required to scale.

Dr. Kevin Best

Robotics & Biomechanics

Kevin is a roboticist and mechanical engineer specializing in real-time control, optimization, dynamics, machine learning, and robotic prostheses. He advises on biomechanics, motion control, electronics, firmware, and fitment.
