One Library for Assistive Technology

The Open Device Library is being built to bring assistive technology models, parts, geometries, and build information from across the web into one searchable catalog.

Find More Than a Model

Models and Components

Search complete devices, replacement parts, mechanical components, printable geometries, VFX models, and CAD files across available formats.

Build Information

Find materials, dimensions, printer settings, FDM or SLA requirements, parts lists, and assembly instructions when supplied by the source.

Sources and Licenses

Trace models back to their original repositories through available source links, attribution, and license information.

Built From Many Sources

Built From Many Sources

The Menderi is working to establish relationships with hardware, tool, mechanical-component, and vendor CAD repositories, as well as 3D-printing and VFX libraries. The catalog will also include publicly available models discovered across the web and designs developed through The Menderi.

An Aggregator, Not a Curator

An Aggregator, Not a Curator

Aggregated files will retain their available source and license information. The Menderi will not review or endorse every file.

The Library is also intended to support component retrieval and, where source rights permit, model training for Mendr AI. The automated device builder will use this growing body of geometry and build information to search for parts, propose assemblies, and prepare preliminary fabrication outputs.
